RSS operates group homes located throughout the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Each home is licensed by the NC Division of Facility Services and provides a home-like environment for five or six adults, ages 18 and up. Individuals living in the group homes receive regular instruction in a variety of independent living skills including:

Housekeeping

Accessing Community Services

The level of supervision and assistance provided by staff is based on the needs of each individual. Persons living in group homes regularly participate in activities away from home. This may include working, attending school or vocational training, volunteering, and participating in recreational activities.
