Residential & Support Services Inc. (RSS), founded in 1974, is a private non-profit organization that provides residential services and community support to individuals with developmental and other disabilities including mental retardation, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and traumatic brain injuries.

How RSS is Funded
RSS’s annual budget exceeds $7 million, with over 86 percent of those funds directly supporting programs. Funding sources include The State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County, The Division of Medical Assistance, The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), foundations, businesses and individual donors.
